Registration is done through your Reddit account. Click the login/register button and sign in with Reddit (the icon). It’s quick and this means you don’t need to create yet another username and password.

Reddit is where most of the diecast community already lives. Using Reddit login keeps things simple and also helps us maintain a trustworthy community, your Reddit account can’t be new. This helps keep spam and fake accounts out. The age of your reddit account that’s needed is not known to the public.

Once logged in, go to the Hunting page (Current Hunts) and click the button “Submit a Hunt”. Fill in the required data. The more specific you are, the easier it is for fellow hunters to help you.

On your hunt, you’ll see a “Mark as Found” button. Once clicked your hunt moves to the Hall of Found Treasures (the archive) so others know it’s been resolved and can celebrate with you!

They don’t disappear, they move to the Hunt Archive (Hall of Found Treasures) automatically 14 days after being marked as found. They stay there as a record of successful hunts.

Absolutely, that’s the whole point! On any active hunt you can leave a comment/offer help to let them know where you spotted the model. The community thrives on this kind of collaboration.

Yes, logged-in members can comment on hunts, reply to comments, and even edit or delete their own comments. Please keep it helpful and on-topic.

Go to the Deals page and click the button “Share a Deal”. Fill in the required data. Deals are visible to the whole community so the more detail the better.

Filling in an end date is mandatory. In case the deal ended before that, then on your deal post you’ll find a “Mark as Ended” button. Use this when the deal is no longer available so others don’t make a wasted trip.

Deals are automatically removed, 3 days after their end date. If a deal has no end date and you know it’s over, please mark it as ended manually.

Yes, every deal has a report button. Use it if the deal is incorrect, misleading or already gone. Reports are reviewed and help keep the listings accurate.

The Collector’s Lounge is the social hub of the site. You can browse collector profiles, see who’s most active, check the leaderboard and find fellow hunters near you or around the world.

After interacting with another collector, whether they helped you find a hunt or shared a great deal, you can leave them a positive or negative rating with a short reason. Ratings build your community reputation over time.

You start with a New Member badge for your first 30 days. From there, badges like Diecast Ambassador, Patron, Historian and Verified are awarded by the admin for notable contributions to the community. There are also achievement badges for being Helper of the Month, Find Champion, Deal Hunter and Rising Star!

Each month the community recognises standout collectors: Helper of the Month (most helpful on hunts), Find Champion (most hunts found), Deal Hunter (most deals shared) and Rising Star (newest active member making an impact). Check the Collector’s Lounge to see the current leaders!
